Discriminating Interceptor Technology Program
SDL is supporting DITP with flight cryostat assembly and housekeeping and control electronics. SDL successfully delivered a proto-flight cryostat with a liquid neon dewar to the Science Applications Internal Corporation (SAIC).
Chief among the SDL-developed technologies is the miniature cryogen supply tank. The SDL focal plane, supported by an optically stable Kevlar fiber support system, virtually eliminates heat loads while maintaining optical alignment.
