C4ISR Systems
SDL develops state-of-the-art intelligence, surveillance, and reconnaissance (ISR) technologies to support command, control, communications, and computer (C4) systems. The products created by SDL’s C4ISR Systems Division cover all aspects of this field; from real-time data acquisition to end-user data exploitation. These products include:
- Tactical sensors
- Data compression and transmission solutions
- Ground stations
- Exploitation software
Product development and support are handled within the four main branches of SDL’s C4ISR Systems Division, which are:
Tactical Sensors – This branch focuses on cutting-edge technologies for small sensor payload systems for use in unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs).
New Software Solutions – This branch excels in rapid prototyping and proof-of-concept solutions to support new and emerging research and applications.
Deployed Sustainable Programs – This branch provides technology transfer solutions, along with development, integration, test, logistics, and sustainment support for deployable hardware and software systems.
Support Hardware – This branch delivers real-time hardware for data compression, data transmission, and other sensor support functions.
