Contracting Mechanisms

The following contracts are available through various sponsoring agencies:

University Affiliated Research Center (UARC)

SDL’s UARC status enables any Government agency to quickly issue SDL a sole-source contract for work that falls within the following mission areas:

  1. Performing engineering and development work related to state-of-the-art, proof-of-concept, sensor systems for space-based platforms
  2. Performing sensor experiment data collection and analysis
  3. Investigating new sensor systems and participating in the early stages of future MDA space sensor technology
  4. Transitioning scientific data and technology to Government and non-Government agencies

In order to accomplish the efforts required, activities may also include sensor system research, development, engineering, prototype fabrication, testing, calibration, and data dissemination, as well as management activities including international cooperation and technical advisory support.
